Had a fantastic stay for one night. The hotel was in a central setting to other lakes too. Moreover, it's just off Windermere / Ambleside, nearest town centre and a pub with very good food.

There were exceptionally comfortable beds and a lounge and coffee in the double room. The location was great and beautiful, very close to Bus stop, in the pretty comfortable area.

Everything there were great, including beautiful facilities. A fairly nice area, stunning location just off a pub which does a great meal, lakes and dining options, and Windermere and the surrounding areas. Immaculate fantastic rooms, clean bathroom, sensational breakfast. Lots of goodies for breakfast.

Lovely design of interiors in king room. Wonderful location in the very quite area, just next door to most areas by road. A really really nice stay for one night.

The queen room was practical and had a lounge area and coffee. This was a marvellous location not far from a lovely pub for dinners.

The hosts were so friendly and welcoming, they even surprised us with a bottle of Prosecco! Our dog was treated like a VIP with her own sausages for breakfast. The room was spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast served in our room was a lovely touch.

The occasional noise from the main road outside, but it didn't bother us too much.

The location is beautiful and amazing, in the local pub nearby. The breakfast is lovely and absolutely fantastic with toast and fresh fruit and heating food, lots to choose from. All in all they offer exceptional service.

Booked it for our weekend and had a quite comfortable stay here.

Great and stunning setting, it's very close to one local pub/restaurant, situated 2 miles away from the hustle and bustle of Windermere, an excellent dog friendly pub, and lakes and dining options.

Accommodating staff and beautifully designed and quaint place. Tasty and super breakfast with locally sourced food, reasonably priced. The location stunning and wonderful near to the bus stop. Friendly service, parking on site.

Our stay at Meadowcroft Guest House was absolutely delightful. The whole place was impeccably clean and fresh, making us feel instantly welcomed. We stayed in a slightly more expensive room, which was worth every penny with its ample storage space and comfortable atmosphere. The breakfast was a highlight, starting with delicious fresh fruit and followed by a perfectly cooked English breakfast. The owners and staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The location was also ideal, providing easy access to explore the beautiful surroundings. Despite being near a main road, we were pleasantly surprised that the noise didn't disturb our sleep. our experience at Meadowcroft Guest House was fantastic and we highly recommend it for a warm and friendly stay.

Although the proximity to a major road could be slightly noisy at times, especially with the windows open, it didn't hinder our overall experience at Meadowcroft Guest House.

The restaurant was nice for dinner here, I had excellent dishes. Coffee & tea making facilities and glassware were a huge plus. Its location was central, 300 metres from Church of st Anne.

The location was good and unbeatable in the very quite area. It took me 5 mins to get to the bus station.

Delicious and tasty breakfast with a huge variety of delicacies and incredibly welcoming staff. Beautiful old building and rooms with a nice view. Really quiet area, stunning location, near to lakes for trips.

A little tired bathroom.

Lovely old place, excellent food offered for English breakfast. Beautiful and fab location down on the central carriageway on the M6, easy to get anywhere. Based close enough to Close to a fab pub to get meals, a taxi and the local attractions.
